By Adrian Rodriguez • May 27th, 2008 • Category: Design and Layout, Lead Story, Software, Web Design, Web DevelopmentAdobe has released it’s betas for the newest line of Adobe CS4 software at http://labs.adobe.com/
As a Graphic/Web Designer/Web Developer this opportunity is a great turnout. I would encourage you to get this while you can.
Dreamweaver is a web development software that allows you to create amazing websites either by hand or using one of it’s many website templates.
Fireworks is a web-ready program that has recently replaced Image-Ready (Adobe’s web image program inside of Photoshop), but it is not intended for print, but mainly used for websites, holds the power to create dynamic menus and create easy mock-ups.
Those two are just two of the many listed on the site that is available to download. Have fun using some awesome high quality, top notch free software!
Be aware that you need a current license in order to use these demos.

oooo im gonna have to go look at that
Thanks Mas
Actually Fireworks is a web-ready program that has recently replaced Image-Ready (Adobe’s web image program inside of PS), but it is not intended for print, but mainly used for websites, holds the power to create dynamic menus and create easy mock-ups. Curious what they do with it in CS4 since it didn’t change much in CS3 from Macromedia’s Studio 8 set.
Personally, I don’t use it though, but I’m not a web guy and i hear a lot of people do… I just wouldn’t recommended it replacing PS, though you can do some stuff…
Thanks for the tip. That’s why we need more Authors here, lol.
Also note that as all the Adobe Beta programs they will expire within a period of time. So the software is “Free” for trying out and testing the new features.
Also it would be important to read their Terms of Usage because if I am correct they do not recommend to use the software for Production :).
My 2 Pesos….
Thanks for all your help and insights guys!
