Our Statement

There are so many design sites and communities on the web that show the amazing professionalism in the graphic design industry. Designers are starting off at younger ages each year and when joining secular sites and communities they are exposed to nudity, mutilation, and disturbing artwork that no one should have to view online. In the world these are expressed as works of art, as a part of what design is. Well, we at GDFC feel that that shouldn’t be the case. There should be a place where designers of all ages should be able to join and fellowship without having to be exposed to such impure, disturbing material. That’s why GDFC was started.

GDFC is a Christian community where Jesus is the center of it all. We express ourselves through our artwork which expresses our love and desire for Christ in our lives. We believe that fellowship with other designers of the Christian way of life is key to allowing people and internet goers to be able to show off what gifts God has given us.

Our Mission

The purpose and vision of GDFC is to represent Jesus in the graphic design industry. We want to use our gifts and talents to bring glory and honor to our God. We have an awesome group of designers from with many different styles and from many different countries. We are a family of believers with one goal in mind, the Gospel of Christ.

As Graphic Designers for Christ we focus on creating logos, banners, apparel, web pages, web sites, ads, brochures, and more while still getting the word of God into everything we create. Every member has their own style and uniqueness that sets them apart from the world, but each of us focus on the most important aspect to our success, God.

TheGdfc started in October of 2007, the goal was to bring people together from all over the world interested in design, to be able to have a place of fellowship where they can display their work, receive and give advice, and eventually become a part of an incredible growth of believers in the graphic design industry. We are growing each month with more activity, members, and believers. Our dream is still alive and GDFC is still growing.
